Shipping

How we package and deliver your work from the studio to your space.

Orientation — what this is

Every piece leaves the studio wrapped and protected for the journey ahead. We take care with how work is packed—it is as much part of the studio's hand as the finishing touches. A well-wrapped painting arrives as carefully as it left. This page explains what to expect when your order ships, how long it takes, and what happens when it arrives.

We work with trusted carriers who understand the value of what they're moving. Insurance covers every shipment, and tracking keeps you informed at every step. The journey from studio to your wall is part of the whole experience.

We ship within New England and beyond, but we do this part slowly so we do it right.

Next step

Every piece is prepared for travel the same way we prepare it for hanging: with attention to detail and respect for the work itself.

The key figures

  1. Preparation and packing

After your order ships from the studio, we allow time for proper protective wrapping, documentation and preparation. Standard ground shipping begins during this window.

  2. Ground shipping within New England

Most deliveries to addresses in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont arrive within five to seven business days of dispatch.

  3. Regional and national delivery

Shipments beyond New England take ten to fourteen business days by ground carrier, depending on destination and seasonal demand. Expedited options are available on request.

  4. Unpacking and setup

Your piece arrives in full protective covering. We include instructions for unpacking, and we're available if you have questions about hanging or installation.

What we ship

We handle originals and fine reproductions, stretched canvas and mounted work, finished pieces and custom orders. Each method of packing is tailored to the work's material and size. A small framed piece gets different protection than a large oil on unstretched canvas—we adjust our approach to match what you've ordered.

Oversized pieces and international orders are assessed individually—contact us to discuss your specific need. We've shipped across the country and overseas, and we know what works for different distances and climates. Standard insurance covers loss and damage in transit. We declare full value with the carrier and provide tracking information with every shipment. You'll have a tracking number within one business day of dispatch.

Local pickup and installation

If you're based in New England, we can arrange studio pickup for large or valuable pieces. Picking up directly lets you inspect the work before it leaves and ask questions about care and placement. We also work with local installers if your commission involves hanging, mounting or special setup. These arrangements are made during the ordering process—just let us know what works best for you.

For pieces heading to commercial spaces or institutions, we can coordinate directly with your installation crew to ensure everything goes smoothly.
