The studio is where practice becomes precision. Every project starts with intention, builds through refinement, and finishes only when every detail speaks for itself. We spend time thinking about materials, technique, and what makes a piece worth making at all. This space exists to share what we've learned, and to show you where your work gets made.
Common Sticking Points
Timeline & Completion
Smaller works typically take two to four weeks from concept to finish, while larger or more complex pieces extend to two or three months. We never rush—quality takes what it takes. Rush requests are sometimes possible, so reach out if you have a specific deadline in mind.
Custom & Commissioned Work
Yes, we create commissions. The process starts with a conversation about your vision, dimensions, color direction, and the story you want told. We work through sketches and refinements together, and timelines typically run six to twelve weeks depending on scope and complexity.
The Creative Process
We begin with research and reference gathering, then move to preliminary sketches and composition studies. From there we build up layers—underpainting, mid-tones, details, refinement—listening to what the piece wants to become rather than forcing it toward a predetermined endpoint.
Shipping & Display
Every piece ships with archival-quality packaging designed to protect it during transit, using acid-free materials and climate-controlled shipping where appropriate. We include care documentation and always welcome display questions—we can advise on framing, placement, and long-term preservation.
